• Protection for staff and volunteers: PPE to have on hand and primary exposure route concerns (splashes, leaking containers, spills)
• Common high risk corrosive/caustic chemicals: How they can hurt (muriatic acid, pool oxidizers, naval jelly, battery acid)
• Common high risk toxins: Pesticides, water reactive rodenticides and how they can hurt (acute and chronic inhalation risks)
• The unusual stuff: High hazards that are rare, but HHW folks need to be aware of (ether, collodion, military munitions, peroxidizable solvents)
